Biguy, I have to agree with your assessment of engineers. Every engineer I have ever known was a know-it-all who couldn't be told anything and the results of their efforts had problems that should have been avoided had they listened or shown more diligence in their planning. This is not a phenomenon restricted to southwest Florida; it is the way of most engineers.
