I'm sorry you feel you have been wronged in this process. We live in a democracy. The votes were cast, it didn't go your way. Cities don't get to vote on these things. We vote for school board members who, then, make the decision. The charter has been issued, the state signed off on it. Crying about now does no good.
You still have the freedom to leave if you don't like the way things went.
