We pay Dr Riviere big bucks to run our city. At least we should expect him to listen and represent us, and not the entrenched senior staff and their cronies. Those guys have spent us into unsustainable debt and have made immutable future plans to spend us into oblivion.
Dr. Riviere had a strong start as our City Manager but based on his disrespectful response to the people who want a responsible and responsive government, he may have already done for us what he is capable of, and new blood is probably needed to root out the remaining unsuitable senior staff.
Clutching and outdated script and insisting there can be no other options but to have the taxpayers build a facility to compete with the hotels and restaurants for wedding and affair business pretty much summarizes why he and his wrong thinking staff have to go.
Otherwise, if we let these guys ignore and dismiss us, we'll never regain control of our city
