Considering the number of lawsuits our City has to endure in defense of the MIPD, and the additional 4+ million dollar a year we already pay beyond the many millions we pay to the County for police that they don't have to provide, we should definitely have a referendum on continuing our MIPD or allowing back the CCSO. Saving 4+ million a year while improving service is a move in the right direction.
