Ruger, I'm tired of the opponents being called "haters" of MIA. I have been reading these blogs from day one and never has there been any use of the word "hate" except by the proponents. Ocram has very valid points about MIA on every level and it seems no one can answer his/her valid questions. In the end it all comes down to concern for the children whose lives will be ruined by attending MIA. Call any college admission office and ask them what is the most important part of the college application and they will tell you it is academic transcript starting at grade 9.Colleges want to see high grades in challenging courses which MIA does not offer. An "A" in PE or art or basic math and science will not cut it. Would you let your child or grandchild be the guinea pig for MIA. Jane Watt doesn't seem to care. Her kid doesn't start HS for 3 more yrs. I don't know how she sleeps at night...really I don't.
