If you have not noticed, the subject here is the pay and benefits of city officials for doing what seem to be rather simple jobs. Apparently you don’t want to answer the questions or address the issues. Your evasive and insulting responses only add to my suspicions.
It is silly of you to mention Carr’s record in By the way; it was so silly of you to mention Mr. Carr’s Viet Nam record relation in response to questions about job duties, pay scale and retirement benefits. Just because he was in Viet Nam does not mean he should be on the public dole?

well you stupid hillwilliam, I don't know what her pay or duties are and you do not either.Thats the point you object to something you do not care enough about to find the facts about. Do some research then blog your real objections. A person is not on the public dole when they have earned the entitlement through service. Chief Carr sign on as chief to do a job with retirement as part of the agreement. Thats when you object not after they have fulfill their part of the obligation. Had you Taken the time to join the military serve your time apply for a job with a Police department get hired spend 23 years doing the job attend advanced schools for training,work your way through the ranks, then help found MIPD stay, be picked as chief then at 65 retire again someone would be paying you to be on the "dole". Now let me explain as best I can code enforcement, it is what keeps ignorant Hillwilliams like you from having cars in your yard up on blocks. When things have order to them property values go up( or at least not go down as far)the tax base then goes up. You see one of the first rules of the universe is the natural order is chaos it takes energy to have order. So for Marco Island or any other city to have some order someone has to enforce code.
