Many thanks to all of the Marco Islanders who called in sightings of Seymour to NOAA and the Sea Excursions 10,000 Island Project. Special thanks to Chris, the Dockmaster at the Esplanade who was diligent in watching for Seymour when they animal spent time in Smokehouse Bay and reporting sghtings. Also thanks goes to the Rose Marco River Marina that provided rental boats to the Sea Excursions survey team in the months leading up to the capture. This is truly the story of a community that came together to help one of the dolphins in their local population that came to distress.
