Questions for the Marco historians. Excluding the tide swings, does the water level of the canals ever noticeably rise due to heavy rain? Have the Marco canal sea walls ever been overtopped due to high tide combined with storm/surge? Does/has anyone track/tracked Marco Island's historic weather events (apart from being included in Naple's reports). To those that might respond, thanks.
