As a new resident of Port of the Islands, I visited Stan's as often as I could, usually Sundays. As I sat with family at a table close to the stage 3 months ago, Stan noticed my Subvets cap and after the National Anthem, he came over to inquire what it meant. After I told him I served on a diesel submarine during the cold war, he thanked me for my service and invited me to his table to chat. What a great Patriot we have lost.
