Kellertime- That opportunity has sailed. If .gov and Federal Reserve would have stayed out of the way and allowed the market to find a natural bottom (were not there yet) housing would have been on the mend by now. Yes it looks a little better in SW FL (people retiring and near retirement can't wait forever for bottom) but nation wide things are ugly. People also need a job and stable working future to buy a home.
Klaus- Ft Jefferson the new capital? The Rum party sounds like a winner. Can't be any worse than the two we have now. Where do I join?
