"Fay Biles was 100 percent correct. Marco Islanders did "bend over backwards to give money" as she predicted earlier."

The greatest Lady of Marco Island is always right!

"In my check presentation remarks to the council, I offered that our Fireworks Fundraising Committee members have agreed that we will do this again next year provided the City Council agrees, as they did this year, to match the funds we raise dollar for dollar. I still have not heard back from them on our offer."

You are wondering? Two of this city councilor will run for re-election. They waste money this year. They will never do it next year. I mean as promise. If Waldi and Gibbon will be re-elected, they will give you 2 for 1 $.

"Independence Day, a.k.a. the Fourth of July, commemorates the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring our independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. Red, white and blue adorn all decorations on that day which are the colors of our American flag thus patriotism should abound year around everywhere on the Fourth of July ... as it does on Marco Island."

And don't forget. It happened with the help of Germans and France people.

God bless America and others too.
