I was an instructor in VT-2 '68 - '71. Unit One Leader the last year. Had my "own" T-28B, 138289, 2G - 251. I had over 850 hrs. in that one bird alone, about 1800 hrs. instructional and accident free. SMILE! Some of the best flying I did in my 22 years in the Navy. Used to fly into APF for Comair year ago. Neat little airport. My deceased buddy and fellow HA(L)-3 Seawolf and VT-2 instructor Dick Stanger kept his twin Cessna there and lived in Marco, also.

Bring your T-28 up to Pensacola in November for the Blues homecoming air show. Seldom do we have a static display Trojan.
