You see - that is your American problem. You never cross the border. You are totally uninformed what happened outside of America. Talk to some oversea manager of international companies, they will educate you.
Why shall health insurance be free?
Everybody pays for his health insurance in Europe depends to his income or his income tax. Even retirement people over 65 years. If you earn more than Euro 50 000 annual you have the right to choose a private health insurance. Smart people do both. Keep the law insurance and have an addition private insurance.
By the way the same way like USA. Why do you think is a job by Marriott so attractive?
