In an earlier blog I gave a civics lessen we all were taught in the 6th grade on how the government of the United States works. What follows in the Constitution of the United States.
"Let me refresh your memory on the constitution. It takes three branches of government to pass laws, The LEGISLATIVE BRANCH, the EXECUTIVE BRANCH, & the JUDICIAL BRANCH aka Supreme Court.
Congress to the Senate then to the Presidents desk.
If nothing can get passed in the congress The LEGISLATIVE BRANCH , It can't move on to the senate for a vote. If there is no bill for the president (the EXECUTIVE BRANCH) to sign how can you keep blaming Obama"?
The laws according to the constitution come from congress and senate. Stop preaching constitution law when you have NO idea what your talking about. There is more to this countries constitution than the right to bare arms.
Now lets look at Pans list above. How many of those items above need approval from Congress before they can go to the presidents desk.
Pan you should be blaming congressional Republicans for all the deadlock in government, not the President! Let's call a spade a spade.........
Obstructionism can also take the form of widespread agreement to oppose policies from the other side, regardless of any efforts at compromise.
An example is the agreement by a group of Republican politicians at a meeting on January 20th, 2009 when Republican strategist Frank Luntz met with seven Republican representatives, Paul Ryan, Eric Cantor, Kevin McCarthy, Pete Sessions, Jeb Hensarling, Pete Hoekstra, and Dan Lungren and five Republican senators, Jim DeMint, Jon Kyl, Tom Coburn, John Ensign, and Bob Corker. Newt Gingrich was also in attendance. The agreement included among other things that they were to "Show united and unyielding opposition to the president's economic policies." Eight days later the Minority Whip, Eric Cantor held the House Republicans to a unanimous "No" vote against Obama's economic stimulus plan. At the end of the meeting Newt Gingrich said "You'll remember this day. You'll remember this as the day the seeds of 2012 were sown.
The above names should be hung for treason!
