I am agree with you, that the banks - by the way world wide - are basically in charge for this crisis framed by the terrible politics of W. Bush. Useless war in Iraq and Afghanistan. I see the Hindukusch different than Iraq. Iraq was W. Bush. Afghanistan is an UN deal.
However. The political frame of W. brought America in trouble and the American people by themselves. You mention the mortgage disaster.
YES! Bank give without any big controls big mortgages. But the American homeowner take them for their overextended lifestyle. I got in 2004/5 mortgage offers for my nice house on Marco Island in dizziest high. I reject. But my American friends took the money for journeys, cars and jeweleries. I mean, whose responsibility is it. The Bank or the receiver? Finally it is every bodies fall. But Bush was the worse. That is for sure. He killed the stock-market with his politics.

Glass–Steagall Act is part of the disaster. But not the reason for Americas downfall.

But GREAT PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA will fix it. You will see.

Alan Greenspan was the second step leading to the housing debacle. Barney Frank and Reid were next forcing the banks to lend to anyone who could fog a mirror. Your stupid friends (and most Americans) that borrowed against their homes believing that the value would only go up to buy stupid stuff were also to blame.

2,000 Americans are dead because of Afghanistan. Obama refuses to pull us out of there. He said he would. He lied. He also said a few days ago we won't be pulling out of Afghanistan. $16 Trillion and rapidly climbing thanks to Obama.

You liberals seem to have a serious problem with the truth. Why?
