MIPD has hired 5 new cops since they canned Ed. I guess they were really hurting at Dunkin' Donuts. The City should've denied the grievance and went to arbitration if necessary, it would've been a slam-dunk. Doing 80 in a 35 zone without the emergency equipment activated is just plain stupid, particularly with his years of experience. So are the police chief and City manager for even considering this settlement.
