Eddies ten best:

Number one:
"Mr. Waldack is doing exactly what the people that voted for him want him to do. And I assure you that he will be re-elected if he runs, for the same reasons he was elected the first time."
Ed Issler
Number two:
"Fossill (Mr. McMullan): How dare you. You have some nerve. You have no right to speak of Public Councils or Public conduct based on what you have done to destroy any Public confidence in anything that you have been involved in."
Ed Issler
Number three:
"Mr. Breeze: In rwssponse to your observations, these blogs are just that. Blogs for people to express their opinions. As you can observe, the blogs are mostly from the minority of voters on the Island as a result of their frustration from the results of recent elections."
Ed Issler
Number 4:
" The STRP is something the majoirty of the citizens want (as evidenced by the last election)"
Ed Issler
Number four:
" You may have forgotten that a consultant has already studied the figures and stated that we can save $5 million a year by taking over LCEC."
Ed Issler
Number five:
"While Mr. Waldack needs no defense from any of us, you must someday come to grips with the fact that he was elected by nearly 7 out of every 10 voters on this Paradise that you share wth all of us. And irrespective of any of that, tell me what it would mean to you if a study was done and showed that we could save $5 million a year by taking over LCEC, and your virtuous LCEC decided to lower our rates by $3 million a year to keep us."
Ed Issler
Number five B:
"Bill Moss did not create problems on Marco, he solved them and upgraded our City in line with the desires and direction of the City Council."
Ed Issler

Number six:
"Boy, what a shame for the people of Marco island to have someone so ignorant, lazy and uninformed even being able to run for City Council. I had heard that Mr. Batte was an investigator in his career before he retired. "
Ed Issler
Number seven:
"But I must provide you with some additional information, as you have put much too much faith in the words and supposed facts spewed by Mr. Hall. You see, Mr. Hall has been mis-quoting people/officials (he has been corrected and/or reprimanded in writing by these officials), he constantly uses examples of other cities that do not apply to Marco Island when trying to argue his opinion on an issue, and he is a spinmaster at creating his own facts that are not true, that in this case, has given you the entirely wrong impression."
Ed Issler
Number eight:
"Dear Mr. Foster: What you don't seem to realize is that it is just a minority of the residents on Marco that really care what you say, said or did."
Ed Issler
Number nine:
"Strike3: take a pill and read, settle down. It sounds like your under a lot of stress, for no reason. What is happening, if you read the article, is that the City is removing Septic tanks and pumping water from the ground into the canals. Theyt are also just excavating around Septic Tanks, running into this polluted groundwater.
So, when you understand and go out and look at what is being done, then maybe you can settle down."
Ed Issler
Number ten:
"Soil and dirt samples, along with airborne monitoring found no asbestos at all. The fragments that were found were discovered to be a result of breakage and not crushing. As a certified asbestos technician, I can assure you that I was just as concerned, initially, as you."

The last: Eddi as ambassador of Marco Island:
"Mr. Wardack: You are not wrong. In fact, I was going through customs at Atlanta Airport last week and the agent noticed on my Declaration that I was from Marco island. He stated he used to live here and still keeps an interest on what is going on. He stated to me "Who are these nuts called CARES and why are they trying to destroy the City of Marco?" I toldf him that they are not destroying anything, they just do not have enough to do with their time (I was in a hurry to catch my flight). If you look at all the negative, critical letters and responses, you will see that they consist of items from a group of maybe 10 people. One day an item will be voted on that is legal and worthwhile to all residents that will demonstrate just how the majority feels. In the meantime, keep up the good work and independent thought process. Democracy is a great thing. That is why it is not legal to recall an elected representative for how they vote on an issue."
