Commissioner Donna Fiala, who has pushed for the project, said she wasn't optimistic a majority of board members would approve Anderson's plan.
"Nobody is considering what the needs of Hideaway Beach are," she said. "They are going to renourish the beach themselves and then we will have to use (Tourist Development Council) funds to dredge the sand out when it washes back into the canal (without the structures)."
Time to consider to put a tax-payer money defalcator bottom on her face. No re-election for tax money squanderer anymore.
