Publix illustrates the principle how it's better to be lucky than smart. If you're familiar with their staffing policy, you know what I mean.

Ever notice how you can no longer get out of Publix (or Walgreen) without being solicited a contribution for whatever worthless charity the manager wants to get plaques from.

Then there are the fake veterans groups hanging around outside with there cheesy tiny flags.

This never happened at Sweetbay, Winn-Dixie, or Walmart.

Going thru Publix here is now more obnoxious than going to church.
