What a great historical speech. I saluute you Mr. President!
Words of history. Words like Abe Lincoln or JFK or FDR. History today!
OHHHHH!!!! Excuse me. I did not see that I posted my German language text you can not read. Here the same in English you can read, maybe not understand:
"We, the people, explain to today, that is that the obvious of truths, that all of us are created equal. And that is our guiding star, as before. ... But we have not yet reached our goal, as long as our wives, mothers, and daughters earn the same money. We have not yet reached our goal, as long as our homosexual brothers and sisters of the law not treated like everyone else also. Because if we are created equal, the love of a human to another must be equivalent. We have not yet reached our goal, as long as people must wait for hours until they can exercise their right to vote. We have not yet reached our goal, before we have found a better way to take the immigrants in reception, which see in America is still the land of opportunity. And we have not yet reached our goal, before all the children from the streets of Detroit over the hills of the Appalachian mountains know up to the quiet streets of Newtown, one takes care of them, respects them and protects them. This is the task of our generation."
What a great speech. Thank you Mr. President. Unfortunately the education level of your fellow Americans are a little bit low to understand you. But who cares. You are the best.
