The Budget Control Act of 2011(BCA) was signed into Law on August 3, 2011 by Obama. Obama and his White House Staff who had proposed the Sequstration Tax Cuts outlined in the BCA knew the Tax Cuts would be eased into effect on March 1, 2013.

The President's Democratic Party who controls the Senate and the Republican Controlled House had approximately 18 months to address the issues outlined in the BCA. There was also a Debt Ceiling Increase int the BCA.

Now Obama wants another Debt Ceiling Increase plus more Tax Revenue Increases.

The Sequester not only triggers the approximate $85 Billion in Budget Cuts but also enacts $165 Billion in Tax Increases.

One of those Tax Increases that went into effect in January, 2013 was the Payroll Tax increase, going from 4.2% to 6.9% effecting most employed Citizens went.

There are 13 different Tax Increases triggered by the Sequester, another one is the Death Tax.

It's wrong that "We the People" who employ these 535 members of Congress who all receive 6 figure saleries ($174,000+) can not enact a budget since O's first Election. "We the People" elected these Gods of Congress.

But quit frankly did you ever cut spendings at the city budget as you were in charge? I can not remember.
Marco Island has an overstuffed and -equipped MIPD.
Marco Island has an museum with no items. Marco Island has street lights installed nobody want. Marco Island has a STRP the majority of Marco Island did not want. If I go over the Marco Island city budget I can cut immediately 40% of the budget and it has no effect for the big majority of Marco Islander.
But the elected "GODS" at city hall - city councilor like you - stopped never their spending orgies. It is for this elected "GODS" to easy spend money they never earned.
So what is your problem now with the 232 super GODS from the GOP? The 200 democrats are their slaves in the moment. They have the same mentality like you. Cuts MAYBE! But never by OUR clients.
You think that is fair? The American middle class is bled to death now. The abject poverty is the highest in the world of competitive nations. I am not talking about Africa or big parts of Asia.
President Barack Obama has a strict agenda. And he is tired of the political cabal of Mr. Boehner. By the way: Where are the promised jobs Republicans promoted 2 years ago?

You see Waldi if you try to be objective this President is doing a great job. He is not a lame duck like 3 city councilor of Marco Island. You are one of them. The Presidents tsunami was his re-election! By a landslide.
