Description: Breakfast is going to the dogs - and dog lovers - on Saturday, February 11 as Patric's Restaurant hosts "PAWS & Pancakes at Patric's," to benefit Avow Hospice and its Pets are Wonderful Souls (PAWS) program.

From 6:30am until 2:00pm., 30 percent of all breakfast sales will be donated to the PAWS program. Pets and their owners are invited and everyone is welcome. Outdoor seating is available. Patric's is located in Mission Square West, ste. 3, 1485 Pine Ridge Rd., Naples.

The PAWS program was created by Avow Hospice in mid-1990s to celebrate the special gifts that pets bring to humans. Today, the program's services include volunteer pet visits to hospice patients, community support groups for pet loss , community pet memorial services, and a pet memorial garden on the Avow Hospice campus.

Baby Basics Riding and Walking Challenge -- 02/11/12 at North Collier Regional Park

Description: A riding and walking event to benefit Baby Basics of Collier County which is an organization that provides diapers to children from low income working families. It is a 100 k, 50k and 25k marked ride outside the North Collier Regional Park and a 3-10 mile ride inside the park as well as an up to 6 mile walk. Breakfast and lunch included. $25 for the ride and $20 for the walk.

Join Joe Fitzpatrick and Peggy Farren for the eighth annual Cars on Fifth car show. Over 400 exotic and specialty cars from five major car clubs are expected as well as a dozen vendors. The cars are displayed along Fifth Avenue S from US41 to 3rd St. in Naples. Understand Photography is not charging for this photowalk, however a donation of $5 gains you entry. The show will provide an opportunity to practice your street, close-up, artistic, photo journalism and automobile photography.

Official public show hours are 10 AM to 3 PM on Saturday, February 11, 2012. The cars are scheduled to start arriving around 8 AM. We will have early access so we can get shots of the cars before the crowds arrive. Let's meet at the Fifth Ave Coffee Company at 8:30 a.m.
