http://www.marconews.com/staff/scott-butherus/<p>Scott Butherus is a man of many hats in the Naples Daily newsroom. As well as being the staff's primary videographer and part-time photographer, he covers the Fort Myers Miracle, spring training for both the Minnesota Twins and Boston Red Sox, and prep sports. His column on fishing and the outdoors appears every Thursday. He also has an expansive collection of actual hats and can often be seen rocking a fedora on the sidelines.</p> <p> Prior to his arrival at the Naples Daily, Scott worked for The Tampa Tribune, WFLA Channel 8 and TBO.com as a multimedia journalist and online producer. During his time there, he was in the pressbox for both a Super Bowl and a World Series. </p> <p>Scott is a native Floridian that has spent pretty much his entire life along the Gulf Coast. He was the first ever graduate student to earn a master's degree in multimedia journalism from the University of South Florida. He also holds a bachelor's degree from UCF with minors in mass communication, marketing, psychology and graphic design.</p> <p>Scott has a wife, Krystal, an infant son, Cannon, and two very large dogs.
