The festival includes appearances by folklorists, craftspeople and musicians from around the state. Reenactments recreate episodes from Florida's history, dating back 500 years, in the museum's 5-acre garden park.
The museum is located at 3301 U.S. 41 East, near the Collier County Government Center. The festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
Adult admission is $5, and student admission is $2. Children are admitted free. All proceeds benefit the museum's education and outreach programs, as well as special exhibits.
