Sessions provide information on condo boards

The Office of Continuing Education of Edison College, Collier County campus, has announced the schedule for the fourth annual Community Association Officers Forum. These meetings provide an opportunity for presidents and members of community association boards to discuss and better understand the issues relevant to serving on a condo board.

This season's meetings will be held at the Collier Athletic Club, 710 Goodlette-Frank Road. Doors open at 8:45 a.m. and the two-hour sessions will begin at 9 a.m. There is no charge to attend but reservations are required.

The sessions include:

-- Nov. 19: The Latest in Landscaping for Condominiums -- Elizabeth Walker, Leo Jr. Lawn and Irrigation Services; Jason Alzamora, General Tree Service of Collier County Inc.

-- Dec. 10: Condominium Operations and Using the Internet -- Byron Ross, Guardian Property Management; Cindy Sanders, At Home Net, Condominium Internet Specialists

-- Jan. 7: Risk Management Panel -- Byron Ross, Guardian Property Management; Bernard O'Donnell Jr., Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt; Larry Hale, Gulf Shore Insurance; Tony Listrom, Swope, Lamberson, Guilkey & O'Connor

-- Feb. 11: Association Finances Made Simple -- Bill West, Southern Community Bank; Tony Listrom, Swope, Lamberson, Guilkey & O'Connor

-- March 10: Legal Update -- Russell Schropp and Cody Vaughan-Birch, Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt
