Golf: Naples High grad in Futures Q School

Naples High graduate Kristin Tamulis leads a group of five players from Southwest Florida competing in the Futures Tour Qualifying School beginning today in Lakeland.

Tamulis, a top player at Florida State, failed to advance out of the sectional portion of LPGA Tour qualifying. Naples' Carrie Dykstra, Kristy Gleason and Pam Nelson and Fort Myers' Kelly Sauger also are attempting to qualify for the Futures Tour, the official developmental tour of the LPGA Tour. Dykstra and Nelson are playing as amateurs.
