The Bonita Springs-Estero Association of Realtors held a golf outing at Miromar Lakes Golf and Country Club and raised more than $17,000 to be donated toward the building of Tot Lots at two local community parks.

Pictured are Dick Miller, far right, of the YMCA and John Yarbrough, fifth from left, with the Lee County Parks and Recreation Department accepting this year's donation. The total donation will be $25,000 to each park over the course of five years. Presenting the checks are the corporate sponsors of this year's event, from left: David Price, Washington Mutual; Trish Mulligan, Midwest Title; and Mark Iwinski and John Bueller with Miromar Lakes. The News-Press was the Founding Corporate Sponsor. The Tot Lots will be named B.E.A.R. Park in honor of the Association.
