Monterosso at Mediterra sold out

Monterosso at Mediterra, a peninsula village of 80 custom-designed coach homes, is sold out. Surrounded by lakes and the seventh and eighth holes of The South Course, designed by Tom Fazio, the neighborhood was introduced when Mediterra, the 1,697-acre master-planned community being developed by The Bonita Bay Group in North Naples, opened for sales in January 2000.

Monterosso coach homes, built exclusively by Taylor Woodrow Communities, range in size from 2,503 to 2,685 square feet of air-conditioned living area. Three floor plans were available, and each floor plan included three bedrooms or two bedrooms/plus den, a large lanai, a private, covered entry and attached two-car garage. Homes were priced from $545,000.

In addition to Mediterra community amenities, residents of Monterosso have their own private neighborhood recreation center with a 54-foot heated pool, an 11-foot spa, and outdoor grill and entertainment area on the lake.

Taylor Woodrow is following up the success of Monterosso with Porta Vecchio, a neighborhood of 56 attached coach homes. Porta Vecchio offers a setting overlooking lakes, nature preserves and The North Course, also designed by Tom Fazio.

Each two-story building at Porta Vecchio will offer four homes ranging from 2,598 to 2,873 square feet under air. Four floor plans will be available, including a two-bedroom, 2-1/2-bath home with den and a three-bedroom, three-bath design with den. Each floor plan will have a two-car garage. Homes will be base-priced around $450,000.

Mediterra Realty is now offering homesites from $450,000, coach homes from $450,000, villas from $750,000 and single-family homes from $1.85 million to more than $5 million.

Residential offerings currently include nine single-family manor neighborhoods with oversized homesites, five luxury villa neighborhoods and two coach home neighborhoods. Mediterra is a private, gated community. The Mediterra Sales and Information Center is just inside the entrance to the community on Livingston Road two miles north of Immokalee Road in North Naples.
