Soccer: CSN begins regional play

The Community School boys soccer team begins regional tournament play today at 3 p.m. at Bradenton Christian in the Region 2 quarterfinals.

The Seahawks (7-5-1) lost to Canterbury, 4-2, last Friday in the District 8 title game to draw the road contest.

Bradenton Christian (16-2-1) beat Bradenton-St. Stephens last Friday to clinch the District 7 title and home field in the first round of the regional playoffs.

The Seahawks beat Bradenton Christian, 3-1, last year in the regional quarterfinals, then lost to Tampa Baptist, 2-1, in overtime in the regional semis.
