Curtain falls on 'Laramie Project'

"The Laramie Project" by Moises Kaufman and members of Tectonic Theater Project, the current production by the Naples Players at Sugden Community Theatre's Tobye Studio, is at the end of its run. The final performance takes place at 8 tonight. Note: This play contains adult language and descriptions. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students. Book sale at Bonita Library

The Friends of the Library of Bonita Springs will hold its final book sale of 2003 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today in the meeting room at the Bonita Springs Public Library, 26876 Pine Ave. A wide selection of hardcover fiction, nonfiction, coffee table books, paperbacks, books on tap, videos and puzzles will be available at bargain prices, as well as the Friends' 2004 Book Lovers calendars for $5. Celebrating aviation at the airport

"Naples Airport -- Celebrating Aviation Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow" takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at Naples Municipal Airport. The event celebrates the 100th year of powered flight, the 60th year of the Naples Airport and the commitment of service to Naples residents from aviation-related groups and 50-plus businesses at the airport. Teddy Roosevelt at the Teddy Bear Museum

The Teddy Bear Museum of Naples presents "An Audience with T.R." with Ted Zalewski in the role of President Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt, at 4 and 7 p.m. today. To the strains of "Hail to the Chief," T.R. will transport audiences back in time to the Oval Office of yesteryear. The show is appropriate for children age 13 and up. Naples Aerodrome 2003

In celebration of 100 years of flight, the Collier Model Aeronautic Club presents Naples Aerodrome 2003 this weekend at the club's flying field off Roost Road in East Naples, one-half mile south of Manatee Road, not far from the Marco Island Executive Airport. The free event, which takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Sunday, will feature More than 120 antique scale radio controlled model airplanes, circa 1903 to 1919. Information: 793-7339.

Patriotic band concert

Naples Concert Band plays a concert at 2 p.m. Sunday at Cambier Park, 755 Eighth Ave. S. Selections will include "Semper Fidelis," "Navy Hymn" and Irving Berlin's salute to the armed forces featuring the Barron Collier High School Concert Choir. Premier jazz ensemble at Cambier
