Albion, St. Cerny to lead Lee Commission

John Albion is now chairman of the Lee County Commission. The commission went through its annual reorganization smoothly on Tuesday, sticking to a rotation that moved Albion into the chairmanship and Commissioner Doug St. Cerny to vice chair.

The law calls for a yearly change of commission chair. Lee commissioners take turns. Commissioner Ray Judah steps down from the chair.

Judah has been on the board since 1988. St. Cerny joined the board in 1990. Albion was first elected in 1992. Commissioner Andy Coy joined the board in 1994, and Commissioner Bob Janes in 2000. Each has been chairman at least once.
