Art exhibition
The Wet Paint Auction 2004 is presenting a preview exhibition of 10 of the Wet Paint artists from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. during November, December and January, at the Atlantic States Bank, 3055 U.S. 41 N. The works will be changed every two weeks and all artwork is for sale with proceeds benefiting the Mental Health Association of Collier County. Information: 659-2828.
Festival of wreaths
Hospice of Naples will benefit from the Festival of Wreaths to be held from 4 to 6 p.m. today, at Lely Palms Retirement Community, 1000 Lely Palms Drive. Wreaths are donated and will be auctioned off at a silent auction. Information: 775-7661 or 417-8511.
Festival of trees
The Naples Philharmonic League is sponsoring the Festival of Trees from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22 through Nov. 27, at 5833 Pelican Bay Blvd. Tickets are $8 for adults, $2 for children 3-12 and children under 2 are free. Dozens of decorated trees and wreaths will be on view as well as the Evergreen Express, a tree of model trains. Family day is from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday and will feature costumed characters, balloon art, magicians, face painting and the arrival of Santa. Christmas tree sale
Naples Christian Academy, 3161 Santa Barbara Blvd., will sell Christmas trees from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Nov. 28 and 29 and from noon to 6 p.m. Nov. 30. The sale will continue from 3 to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays through Dec. 19. All proceeds benefit the school. Golf tournaments
-- The Men's and Women's Associations of Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church are sponsoring a golf tournament at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Cypress Woods Golf and Country Club, 3525 Northbrooke Drive. Women will play from the red tees and men will play from the white tees. Registration is at 7:30 p.m. and cost is $75 per player and includes golf, cart, awards, door prizes, awards luncheon and silent auction. Proceeds benefit the Collier County Habitat for Humanity. Gift show
The Ultimate Gift Show from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 29 and 30, at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples, 280 Vanderbilt Beach Road, will donate 20 percent of the ticket sales to Cancer Alliance of Naples. 5K run and walk
Joe Logsdon Foundation will host a 5K run and walk to benefit the children and families living with HIV/AIDS in Collier County at 6:30 a.m. Nov. 29, at 6310 Trail Blvd. Admission is $15 prior to the day of the race and $18 on the day of the race. Gifts needed
The Shelter for Abused Women and Children needs holiday gifts for 400 clients. The most preferred gift is gift certificates for Immokalee families to buy new shoes, ethnic dolls and batteries for toys. Volunteers needed
Hispanic Services of Catholic Charities, 27050 Old 41 Road, Bonita Springs, is in need of volunteers to tutor elementary school children. Volunteers do not need to speak Spanish. The children need mentors to help them with reading, math and spelling. Information: 337-4193, ext. 302.
