Volunteer June Wlock helps fill bags with food for Thanksgiving Day for about 80 families at the Society of St. Vincent DePaul in Naples on Thursday morning.

Major donors for the project include America's Food Partnership, Friends in Deed and St. Peter's parishioners. In addition to the bags, the families will also receive a gift certificate to purchase turkeys from Publix. The society feeds about 500 families throughout the year through its food pantry.

"Food is something we are always in need of," Carolyn Henry, the society's executive director, said. Lisa Krantz/Staff
