The three-bedroom/four-bath home is on the 26th floor of Estancia, The Lutgert Company's third luxury high-rise at Bonita Bay. The penthouse, one of four penthouse plans available in Estancia, offers 4,357 square feet of air-conditioned living space and 614 square feet of outdoor areas, including two screened terraces and one open-air terrace.
The views are seen immediately upon entering the home from a private lobby with entries to hallways on each side, including the one leading to the service entry.
Inside, the foyer looks through to the great room and three large windows, and introduces the ebony-stained wood floors used throughout the penthouse. The foyer's ceiling has a faux-finished coffer with cove lighting and molding.
A hallway to the left of the foyer leads to the family room, kitchen and guest suites, and is illuminated by small stainless steel spotlights suspended from metal track lighting along the ceiling.
A hallway to the right serves the den, full powder bathroom and coat closet before turning to the master suite and laundry room.
Sliding glass doors off the great room open onto a screened terrace oriented to the western views. A wet bar with Uba Tuba granite countertops, dark stained cabinetry, glass doors, a mirror backsplash and sink serves the great room and dining room, which are separated by two stained-wood columns.
Windows in the dining room also offer views to the west. The room's rectangular tray ceiling has a metallic faux finish, cove lighting and molding, and the back wall is paneled with wood and accented with crisscrossing wood moldings and inset with metal rosette-type tiles.
The L-shaped butler's pantry is between the dining room and kitchen. It has Giallo granite countertops, cherry cabinetry and a mirror backsplash.
The same granite and cabinetry is used in the kitchen, where space between kitchen and family room is defined by a U-shaped island equipped with a six-burner smooth cooktop, General Electric Advantium and convection ovens, paneled dishwasher, double sink and breakfast bar. Upper cabinetry has glass fronts and backs, glass shelves and interior lighting.
The kitchen has a tray ceiling and offers a side-by-side Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezer, two refrigerator drawers and a miniature wet bar with icemaker, sink and wine cooler. Under-cabinet lighting illuminates work areas.
The adjoining breakfast nook has a corner location and 180-degree views through windows looking to the northwest and southwest.
A built-in entertainment center in the adjoining family room has a fireplace with marble surface and mantel, space for a television above and deep niches on each side. Four sliding glass doors open onto a 254-square-foot terrace with views to the southwest.
This terrace is shared by a guest suite, which doubles as the home's second master suite. Offering dual walk-in closets, the room has a full bathroom with crema marfil marble floor accented with glass mosaic tiles, a frameless glass-enclosed shower with built-in bench, dual sinks, and a separate raised tub set into a window looking through the open terrace to Bonita Bay and its golf courses.
Sliding glass doors in the second guest suite provide access to the open terrace, offering 147 square feet of eastern golf course and preserve views. The bedroom has a walk-in closet.
The powder room is a full bathroom with white pedestal sink and a shower with a glass door and tumbled marble floor. Dual French doors open onto the den, which has a mahogany built-in with desk and shelves on each side, a tray ceiling accented by wood molding, and sliders that open onto the screened terrace that is also accessible from the great room.
The laundry room has a ceramic tile floor, deep sink, upper and lower cabinetry, and a front-loading Asko washer and dryer. A window provides natural light and a door to the lobby serves as the service entry.
The master suite offers 315 square feet and has sliding glass doors that open to the screened terrace shared by the great room and den. Six windows form a curved wall showcasing layered north and west views.
His-and-her closets are found in the master bathroom, which also offers a linen closet, a separate water closet, his-and-her vanities with marble countertops, and a separate tub and shower, also finished in marble. The ceiling has an octagonal tray with faux finish and crown molding. A north view is offered from a window above the raised tub.
Featuring interior design by Marc-Michaels Interior Design, Penthouse 302 is priced at $2,452,000, furnished.
Estancia offers residents covered parking spaces in controlled-access garages on the building's first two floors, additional air-conditioned storage on the ground level plus a full amenities level, offering a card room, social room with full catering kitchen, fitness center, locker rooms with steam rooms, and furnished guest suites. A heated swimming pool, spa and barbecue grills are found outside. Membership opportunities are also available at Bonita Bay Club.
Estancia is the third of eight planned high-rises being developed by The Lutgert Companies in Bonita Bay, the 2,400-acre master-planned community created by The Bonita Bay Group. The Bonita Bay Realty Sales & Information Center is at the entrance to the community on U.S. 41 in Bonita Springs.
