Robbery charges dropped against Bonita man for lack of information

Charges against a Bonita Springs man have been dropped after he was arrested last month on a robbery charge.

State Attorney's Office spokeswoman Chere Avery said Monday that the charges against James Brian Kent, 36, of 12431 Jefferson Lane, Bonita Springs, have been dropped because of lack of information.

Lee County sheriff's deputies arrested Kent in October and charged him with robbery with a deadly weapon. Deputies said he used a knife to steal a car.
