Businesses: Some businesses, including the Naples Daily News offices, will be closed Thursday for transacting regular business.
Garbage: There will be no garbage or yard debris collection
in the city of Naples on Thursday, and collection will be delayed
one day. Residents who have their garbage or yard debris collected
on Thursdays will have it collected on Friday. Residents who have
their garbage or yard debris collected on Friday will have it
collected on Saturday. Recycling will not be collected on Thursday,
and normal collection will resume the following week. There will be
no commercial Dumpster collection on Thursday, but additional
collections will be provided on Wednesday and Friday. There will be
no collection Thursday for customers served by Waste Managment and
Immokalee Disposal, and collection resumes Friday. Mail: The
U.S. Postal Service will deliver only Express Mail on Thursday.
There will be no regular mail delivery and post offices are closed.
Regular mail service will resume on Friday.Government:
Collier County government offices, court offices and Collier County
School District administrative offices are closed Thursday and
Friday. Collier County Public Schools are closed Wednesday,
Thursday and Friday. City halls are closed Thursday and Friday in
Naples, Marco Island and Everglades City.
