Running: Weather, pace brisk for entries in Logsdon 5K

Mike Aldrink, a high school cross country coach in Bradenton, won the men's overall honors in the 3.1-mile race with a time of 16 minutes, 32 seconds.

Colleen Campbell, a 13-year-old from Kentucky, led the female runners, snaring overall honors with a time of 19:35.

Mike Kinzell (18:34) led the way in the Masters male field while Jeanine Rice (21:52) led the women in that age category.
