A Golden Gate man was arrested Saturday afternoon in connection with an early Saturday shooting that left four people wounded, the Collier County Sheriff's Office reported.
Kevin Eric Perry, 29, 1873 52nd St. S.W., Golden Gate, was arrested and charged with four counts of aggravated battery with a firearm and one count of aggravated assault.
The shooting, was sparked by an argument between Perry and Cesar Riley, 32, of Imokalee, happened at the Ridgeport Pub, 5425 Airport-Pulling Road, in North Naples about 1:35 a.m. Saturday.
Perry had an ongoing feud with Riley, deputies reported. Words were exchanged by the two men and Perry fired a handgun, injuring Riley and three others, deputies said.
A deputy on patrol near the Ridgeport Pub saw a crowd rush outside and people reported there had been shots fired inside. Other deputies then were called to the scene.
The injured are identified as:
• Riley, who was shot in the upper body. He was the most seriously wounded and was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital for treatment. He was in serious but stable condition.
• Claudyson Angervil, 26, who was shot in the leg.
• Jonathan Corbitt, 22, who was shot in the arm.
• Nicole Bruce, 32, who was shot in the buttocks.
Angervil, Corbitt and Bruce, all of Naples, were treated at Naples Community Hospital.
A large crowd had gathered in the parking lot and six people were arrested on disorderly conduct charges after they refused to leave the area.
An investigation continued Saturday.
