‘Killing Mr. Watson’

Bachelor auction

Car show
The Naples Ferrari Club will sponsor a car show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Third Street South, Naples. The event also includes an evening of gaming and entertainment from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Inn on Fifth, 699 Fifth Ave. S., Naples. The cost is $100 per person or $175 per couple. Art and tea in the afternoon
The Women of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 500 Park Shore Drive, Naples, will have an art show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Tea will be served at 3 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday at a cost of $14. A raffle drawing will be held at 4:30 p.m Sunday. Information: 261-2355.
Fashion show
The Shelter for Abused Women & Children will benefit from a fashion show and luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Dunes, 310 Dunes Blvd., Naples. Locks of love
If your hair is 10 inches or longer, you can get a free haircut from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday at Florida Gulf Coast University’s Student Union, 1505 FGCU Blvd., Estero. The hair will be donated to Locks of Love to provide hairpieces for financially disadvantaged children with medical hair loss. You can get a haircut for a $10 donation if you have shorter hair. Art auction preview

-- Barbara’s Friends, the Children’s Hospital Cancer Fund, received a check for $7,000 from Fort Myers Toyota and Corvettes on the Gulf. The money was raised at the classic car show held Jan. 9.
-- Collier’s Reserve Country Club members dedicated a 1,400-square-foot home to Habitat for Humanity in Charlee Estates in East Naples. The 100 members built and donated funds for the house.
-- The League Club of Naples gave $1,500 to Fun Time Early Childhood Academy to replace classroom furniture damaged by Hurricane Wilma.
-- The Wyndemere Golf Tournament held Jan. 23 raised $82,000 for Youth Haven.
