General admission: $12 adults, $6 visitors ages 13-21, free for members and children under 13. “French Impressionism and Boston: Masterworks from the Museum of Fine Arts,” featuring 57 paintings, including 53 masterworks from the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, explores the influence of the french impressionist painters on Boston’s artists and collectors during the 19th and early 20th centuries. French artists featured include Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, Edouard Manet and Pierre-Auguste Renoir. American artists featured include: John Singer Sargent, Childe Hassam and Edmund Charles Tarbell. The show runs through March 5.

Seminole Okalee Indian Village, Hollywood Reservation, 5845 S. State Road 7, Fort Lauderdale, (954) 792-1213. Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays. Admission is $10 for adults; $7 for seniors and children 6 to 12; and 5 and under are free. The village includes the Okalee Museum, featuring the history of Seminole patchwork and two galleries of paintings, and a montage of photographs of Seminole life in the 1900s. Okalee also features wildlife shows and craft demonstrations.

Now showing through Jan. 15: “Milton Avery: Paintings from the Collection of the Neuberger Museum of Art” and “The Graphic Art of Henri Matisse: Selections from the Grunwald Center for the Graphic Arts, UCLA.” Admission to the Avery/Matisse exhibit is $5; children 17 and younger and museum members are admitted free.
