Bench to be dedicated to Bonita Beach activists

A park bench will be dedicated in memory of Jim and Alice Pepper on Tuesday, Feb. 14, at Bonita Beach. The Peppers were longtime members of the Citizens Association of Bonita Beach. They spent many hours volunteering their time to help keep Bonita Beach clean.

The bench is located on the upper level of the county building in the park. CABB members placed the bench facing west so those who use it can enjoy the sunset.

The bench will be dedicated at 11:30 a.m. Anyone wishing to be in the ceremony’s program of remembrance should call CABB President Marjorie Ward at 992-5153.
