Lee Trevino to play in ACE golf tournament

ACE Group Classic tournament officials announced today that golfer Lee Trevino will play in the tournament.

Trevino, a six-time PGA Tour Major Championship winner, last played in Naples in 2004 when he tied for 38th place. He is a two-time winner of the event (1990 and 1991) and has played in the tournament nine times.

"We're absolutely thrilled that Lee Trevino is joining our field for the 19th annual ACE Group Classic," tournament director Jason Camp said in a statement. "With Lee in our field, Naples area golf fans are in for an entertaining week of golf."

Trevino's commitment came on the last day that players can commit to play in next week's tournament and gives the ACE Group Classic seven World Golf Hall of Famers.

The Club at TwinEagles will host the ACE Group Classic from Feb. 13 to Feb. 19.
