If the price tag doesn't give you sticker shock, you could live on Fashion Drive at the new Coconut Point Lifestyle Center.
Kosene and Kosene Residential announced the release of 82 condominiums, named Phase II, of the Residences at Coconut Point. Some of the units, still under construction, will be above retail shops such as Victoria's Secret, Bebe and Chico's.
In addition, all of the homes will be walking distance from restaurants Ruth Chris Steak House, Panera Bread Company, California Pizza Kitchen, and much more.
The homes are located within the Coconut Point lifestyle center, a 1.2 million-square-foot mall, which houses retail shops, restaurants a movie theater and valet parking. The Phase II units are on floors two and three of the Main Street retail buildings.
In total, The Residences at Coconut Point consist of 290 condos, with Phase I selling out in seven weeks.
According to Joe Loukota, director of sales, he is aware of the market right now, and although he said he expected originally to sell out the units in two months, he acknowledges it might take a bit longer to sell Phase II.
"The product that we're offering is superior," Loukota added. The units will have flat walls, 8-foot solid doors, 3-centimeter granite countertops, instead of 2 centimeters, and then buyers can upgrade from there.
Raised cabinets, instead of flat, higher quality carpet, 18-inch tile and crown molding, for example, are some of the exclusive upgrades. According to Loukota, the quality of the units don't require many, if any, upgrades.
The units themselves offer much to choose from, with about 30 different floorplans, and sizes ranging from 1,000 to 2,200 square feet.
Prices vary also.
The least expensive unit carries a price tag of approximately $375,000, while the most expensive unit costs approximately $875,000.
"Providing this caliber of product, in a mixed-use format, is relatively new to the area but the overwhelming acceptance of it certainly speaks for itself," said Gerald Kosene, owner of Kosene and Kosene.
Amenities aside from what is open to the public at Coconut Point include underground resident parking, secure buildings, a clubhouse and pool, a workout facility, and an activities room.
"It comes well-equipped," Loukota said.
The Residences at Coconut Point are Mediterranean-inspired exterior, with a mix of contemporary open concept floor plans, meant to provide a blend of style, sophistication and comfort.
