Robert and Loretta Capwell of Naples announce the engagement of their daughter, Carrie Nicole, to Eric Immesberger, son of Emil Immesberger of Statesville, N.C., and Dorris Anderson of Albany, N.Y.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles and Georgetown University, School of Law. She is employed by the United State Department of Justice.
The prospective groom is a graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice and is also employed by the United States Department of Justice.
The wedding is planned for Nov. 4 at the Vineyards Country Club in Naples.
Wedding: Stahnke — Davenport
Dr. Jamie Stuart Davenport and Sarah Spencer Stahnke were married by Larry Mullins on Nov. 20, 2005, at the Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club. A reception at the same site followed.
The bride, daughter of Dr. Ronald and Mary Lynn Stahnke of Naples, is a graduate of Naples High School and the University of Central Florida. She is employed by Crawford Interiors.
The groom, son of Nancy and Eric Eberhardt and Greg and Beth Davenport, all of Naples, is a graduate of Barron Collier High School, the University of Florida and Tuft University, School of Dentistry. He is a dentist in private practice in Naples.
The bride's sister, Katharine Stahnke of New York, was the maid of honor. The groom's sister, Erin Abougzir of Naples; Nicole Borth of Naples; Malena Schryver of Pensacola; and Megan Robson of Atlanta were bridesmaids.
Ryan Soave of Destin was the best man. The bride's brother, Max Stahnke of Boston; Ryan Joyce of Naples; Wes Creamer of Virginia; and Mikkel Brinson of Naples were groomsmen.
The couple honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii.
Wedding: Russell — Palvino
Jessica Belinda Russell and Dr. Thomas Justin Palvino were married by the Honorable Magistrate Jeffrey Maske on May 12 at the Austin Museum of Art-Laguana Gloria. A reception at the same site followed.
The bride, daughter of Dr. John Robin Russell and Bonnie Russell, both of Cypress, Texas, is a graduate of Tomball High School, Texas A&M University and the University of Baylor, School of Law. She is an attorney at McGinnis, Lochridge & Kilgore in Austin, Texas.
The groom, son of Mrs. Lawrence Palvino of Naples and the late Mr. Lawrence Palvino, is a graduate of McQuaid Jesuit High School, the University of Vermont and Texas A&M, College of Veterinary Medicine. He is an intern at Central Texas Specialty Hospital in Austin.
Brooke Vegas of Memphis, Tenn. was the matron of honor. The groom's nieces, Emily and Lilli Armstrong of Steamboat, Colo., were flower girls.
Thomas George of Rochester, N.Y. was the best man. The groom's brother, Mark Palvino of Rochester, and the bride's brother, John Robin Russell of Cypress, were ushers.
The couple honeymooned in Italy and reside in Austin.
Anniversary: Barrs mark 50th anniversary
Thomas and Marilyn Barr of Naples celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 2 during a cruise. They will also celebrate on an Alaskan cruise with their children and grandchildren in July.
The couple were married in Queens, N.Y. They have been residents of Naples for 14 years relocating from Bellmore, N.Y. Tom Barr retired from the New York City Fire Department, and Marilyn Barr was the principal account clerk for the Bellmore-Merrick School District. In retirement they enjoy their friends and the Florida lifestyle.
The couple's children and spouses are Peter and Judy Fisk of Brightwaters, N.Y.; Dr. Mark and Jeannette Safford of Merrick, N.Y.; and Thomas J. and Karen Barr of Tampa. They have three grandchildren.
Anniversary: Millroys celebrate 50 years
Robert and Judith Millroy of Naples celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 21 with family and friends at their home. The couple met when Judy Millroy was eight and Bob Millroy was 11.
The couple were married at Davis Memorial Church in Harrison, N.J. They have been residents of Naples for seven years relocating from Harrison. They lived in Harrison for 60 years. Bob Millroy retired from Orval Kent Foods. Judy Millroy retired from the Hartz Mountain Corp. and works part-time for Publix Supermarkets.
The couple's children and spouses are Alan and Lynda Messerschmidt, James and Cathy Millroy, Michael A. Millroy, Robert L. Millroy and David G. Millroy, all of Saylorsburg, Pa.; and Ross and Christine Hardie, Michael and Patricia McCurrie and Joseph and Kelly Millroy, all of Kearny, N.J. They have 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
