The company’s new office is in the Renaissance Center at 9530 Marketplace Road, at the intersection of Daniels Parkway and Interstate 75. The Renaissance Center, built by McGarvey Development, is a three-story 65,000-square-foot Class A office building.

Construction advances

Construction is more than 35 percent under way in the third and final phase at The Residences at Bell Tower Park, announced Dave Nitsche, senior project manager of the community’s developer, Grosse Pointe Development Co. The gated community is in south Fort Myers on the east side of U.S. 41 about one mile south of Daniels Parkway. Currently, 80 of the 208 courtyard and carriage homes to-be-built are under way in 22 buildings. In all, there will be three construction phases with 478 homes. First- and second-floor carriage homes range from 1,748 to 2,315 total square feet and are priced from $350,000. The one- or two-story courtyard homes range from 1,746 to 2,429 square feet of living area and are priced from the $400s. The Residences at Bell Tower Park is at 5100 Bell Tower Park Blvd.

Preferred builder named

Gulfstream Homes, a Naples-based homebuilder, has been named the only preferred builder in Bucks Run Reserve, a new community to be developed on the corner of Vanderbilt Beach Road and Collier Boulevard. Gulfstream Homes will offer attached villas ranging from approximately 1,850 to 2,500 square feet of living space. Homes will be priced from the $400s and will include paved driveways and tiled roofs. Bucks Run Reserve will include a community clubhouse, two lakes and natural preserve areas. Construction is scheduled to begin on the community in September.

Hospital work complete

Fort Myers-based Stevens Construction Inc. has completed renovation of the 11,000-square-foot Florida Hospital medical office building in Sebring. The building now houses the outpatient diagnostic center and medical offices for Florida Hospital. The exterior now features a Mediterranean color scheme with a covered, arched portico, and the interior has been renovated to create a more contemporary and functional space. The interior lobby offers high ceilings lined with windows, allowing natural light to shine in. Every room in the building, including diagnostic and dressing areas, has hand-painted aquatic murals on the walls. Tom Doty of Stevens Construction was the project manager. Jacki Barnett was the project administrator.

Pool construction begins

J.L. Wallace Inc. has started construction of a resort-style swimming pool designed for multi-generational use for the Bella Terra community at 20070 Bella Terra Blvd. in Estero. The 7,300-square-foot heated swimming pool will include a “beach entry,” a beach-like entrance leading into the wading area that is easily accessible for children and the handicapped. The beach area will include an interactive, aquatic playground featuring a palm tree with shooting water. Adjacent is an area offering casual seating benches 18 inches below the surface with deck mounted beach umbrellas so adults can watch in comfort as the children play nearby. A third alcove will be equipped with a water volleyball net. The resort-style swimming area also will include a heated spa that seats up to nine people. Fred A. Barry of J.L. Wallace is senior project manager, and Michael Seifert is job superintendent. Construction is expected to be complete in December.
