Real estate news in brief: Staff appointments, sales leaders

A list of recent real estate staff appointments and sales leaders.

ERA Faust Realty Group

Real estate broker Jeff Piipponen was recognized as one of the nation’s top brokers by ERA Franchise Systems Inc. at the company’s annual President’s Circle Conference at Green Brier Resort in West Virginia. Throughout the two-day event, brokers shared strategies for providing better customer service and increasing business. They also participated in roundtable discussions and question-and-answer sessions.

Royal Corinthian Homes

Beverly Valdes has been promoted to project manager assistant for the Fort Myers-based home builder. Valdes joined J.L. Wallace, a commercial construction firm and sister company of Royal Corinthian Homes, in 2002 as a receptionist. In 2004, she was promoted to accounting assistant for J.L. Wallace. Valdes attended Minneapolis School of Business in Minneapolis. Prior to joining J.L. Wallace, she worked for a school system in Illinois for 20 years.

Stevens Construction Inc.

Todd Welle has joined the company as project superintendent for the Fort Myers-based construction firm. He will manage the entire construction process from permitting through completion. Originally from Sarasota, Welle has 12 years of construction experience, and has been a superintendent for the last six. Welle is also OSHA certified.

Kimball Hill Homes

Christine Chesnover has joined the firm as customer care manager and will work out of the office at Calusa Palms in Fort Myers. Chesnover, with more than 10 years of experience, graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in recreation business and also holds a degree in education with minor in sales and marketing. Prior to joining Kimball Hill, Chesnover was with Homes of America Holdings Inc. in Fort Myers.

Myra Stewart was named administrative assistant for Kimball Hill’s Westlinks office in the Fort Myers division. Stewart, with more than 20 years of experience in accounting and office administration, was formerly with the Thompson Family Law Firm in Fort Myers.
