Everblades complete prior trades

ESTERO — Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Gerry Fleming announced today that the team received financial considerations in return for two trades made during the 2005-06 season.

The Everblades receive the financial consideration in return for the deals that sent forward Bogdan Rudenko to the Pensacola Ice Pilots on February 28 and forward Sean Stefanski to the Augusta Lynx on March 9.

In 32 games games with the Everblades, Rudenko notched seven goals and added eight assists before getting shipped to Pensacola. After joining the Ice Pilots, the 28-year-old native of Kazachstan saw action in just five games and failed to tally a point. Stefanski, a rookie, had picked up seven points (1g, 6a) in 33 games with the Everblades before getting traded. The 26-year-old finished the season with four points (2g, 2a) in 16 games with the Lynx.
