Southbound I-75 reopens in south Fort Myers

The southbound lanes of Interstate 75 reopened this morning after a traffic accident forced the closure of both lanes in south Fort Myers.

The Florida Highway Patrol responded at 6:22 a.m. to a crash in the southbound lanes of I-75 just south of Daniels Parkway. Troopers said both lanes of traffic were blocked this morning.

Southbound I-75 reopened to traffic at about 7:40 a.m. The highway patrol said the crash involved injuries.
