Blades send Ronan to Dayton

Florida Everblades forward John Ronan, who was a rookie on the 2005-06 team, was dealt late Monday to the Dayton Bombers in order to complete the March 15 trade that brought over rookie defenseman Tyson Teplitsky.

Ronan, 25, scored 26 points (12 goals, 14 assists) in 68 regular-season games for the Everblades but missed the Kelly Cup Playoffs with an ankle injury.

Teplitsky had a goal and six assists in 12 regular-season games for Florida and added three assists in the playoffs after scoring 28 points (8 goals, 20 assists) with Dayton. Teplitsky was also named to the ECHL All-Star team representing the American Conference.

The Everblades completed two other trades made during the season by receiving financial considerations from Pensacola, for a deal that sent Bogdan Rudenko to the Ice Pilots on Feb. 28, and from Augusta for a deal that sent Sean Stefanski to the Lynx on March 9.
