Shores Club: Keep summer activities on your list

Hi, friends and neighbors! I hope you get this since I am still in upstate New York (Corning , where the LPGA is playing, with our Catherine Cartwright and the other women from Naples and Fort Myers) as I write this, and it is still chilly, damp and it was only up to 71 yesterday, so I am looking forward to beaching and getting warm and checking on you all.

Just a few reminders: Is anyone still interested in a Fourth of July block party? Did anyone check the fireworks dates so we do not overlap (unless you want it to)? If it goes through, we need a representative from all nine streets to help pass the word and let everyone know this is for The Shores.

I am back in Bonita on June 6, so feel free to call me, drop by the house, leave a note a the club, contact any board member, or anything to help us involve our families in a fun outing. Thank you to the people still utilizing the programs for the summer and for the renters of the rooms — you are helping to keep our building and not lose it to a condo!
